Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
To participate I have a great amount of experience serving the Sangat and serving the Siri Singh Sahib. I have an understanding of the values necessary to serve in a large, international Sikh community. I have a very close relationship to the Guru. I believe that this understanding of serving the Guru will make me an asset to the SSSC board. |

SS Gurutej Singh Khalsa

Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
I have served on the SSSC Board since December of 2015. In the time I have been on the Board I have been involved with many issues affecting our dharma and feel passionate about our future. I want to contribute all I can to spreading the teachings of the Siri Singh Sahib, to spreading the sacred science of Kundalini Yoga, and to spreading the word of the Guru. Further, I want to ensure that the legacy of the Siri Singh Sahib remains intact, that it does not become corrupted or diluted, that his teachings remain pure and true, and that his memory is honest and accurate rather than mythical or unreal. In addition, I want to work to make us a truly global organization and not just US-centric. We are a global sangat and must have global involvement and representation. I want to help the non-profits to succeed with their missions with integrity and I want to help the for-profits grow successfully and prosper.... |

SS Dr. Harjot Kaur Singh
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
The reason that I felt called to serve on the initial SSSC Board was that for my 30+ years of being with the Siri Singh Sahib and with Sikh Dharma/3HO, it was very clear in my mind that the intention of having the businesses was so that the businesses could fund the future of the Dharma and this did not happen under the old UI leadership. The reason I continue to feel called to serve on the SSSC Board is that I feel that there is still much work to be done from a governance perspective on setting the foundations for good governance for the future (to prevent the repeating of the past legal and unethical history with old UI as well as issues of conflict of interest). We need to deal with in our capacity as leaders within the Sikh Diaspora as we outreach and interface within the Sikh Panth. Given my background of experience with the Siri Singh Sahib as well as Sikh Dharma/3HO, along with my cultural background as a Punjabi Sikh, I feel I do have a unique perspective to bring to the board. |
SS Jai Singh Khalsa
Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
Just prior to Siri Singh Sahibs’ departure from the physical realm he asked me ‘to look after my things.’ I have served for five years either as the Chairperson of The KHALSA Council or the Siblings of Destiny Group. I have also served on the legal Advisory Group and on the Initial Board and the SSS Corp from its inception. I have the corporate memory of our situation and have consistently committed to the time, expense and risks associated with this service. I also bring a solid financial and business perspective to The Board. |
SS Jot Singh Khalsa
Millis, Massachusetts, USA
Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
It would be a great honor to serve and represent the Siri Singh Sahib and all of us who are on this path of Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma. Through my 45 years of participation in this lifestyle, and learning through mistakes and mis-steps, I’ve come to trust and value my input around important projects and causes. To add my voice to this most esteemed body of sevadars would be a privilege. |
MSS Krishna Kaur Khalsa
Los Angeles, California, USA
Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
The only thing I have ever wanted to do was to serve the mission of the Siri Singh Sahib. In fact, the only thing I really want to do in my life is to try to assure that his mission and his desire for all of us is manifesting as he envisioned. We are at a very critical place in solidifying the definition and clarification of the role of the SSSC and its responsibility to serve more effectively our constituent organizations and our people, particularly our Millennial generation. There are several situations with which I have historical knowledge and personal experience that could be of service over the next few years. I have the commitment, the clarity, the ability to be neutral, and the strength to stand up for what I believe is in the best interest of the greater community. Thus, I feel my presence would be helpful if re-elected. |
SS Kulwant Kaur Khalsa

Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
I think the Siri Singh Sahib Corp board is most effective when it can draw upon a diversity of perspectives and skills. I believe that my set of life experiences, among them, studying with the Siri Singh Sahib for 33 years and serving the profit and non-profit entities he formed, will enable me to be a positive addition to the board. |
SS Sahaj Singh Khalsa
Santa Fe, NM - USA
Why do you feel called to serve on the SSSC Board?
A consistent theme of my life has been finding ways to serve our community and other communities, both personally and professionally. I find that helping others and serving is at the core of what I like to do and of who I am. The opportunity to serve on the SSSC Board is a continuation of that theme. I hope, should I be elected to serve on the Board, that I will be able to assist all of our organizations to grow and to continue their missions of serving our global Sangat. |
